Reviews
Bought two of these grinders, and I am satisfied with the pleas from them. BUT ... expected to clear the agent scan the terrain around the crusher. Gently tapping / shaking the grinder before taking out the trash helps, but does not eliminate the debris. I would buy again? Yes
I actually ranked it will be 4 1 / 2 stars. This is about my third grinder 've purchased and it is far the best that I ' ve tried. It 's quiet, fast, and produces a large volume of ground coffee. Simple change of the volume adjustment numbered buttons. Busy setting is done by rotating the nut holder. It 's not as simple as adjusting the volume but still easy. I rarely change the grind setting anyways. I 've cleaned the unit once and it is a simple procedure. Top lifts off and you can brush it. Some people have complained in reviews about static electricity scattering ground coffee when taken ground coffee container. It 's true it happened. However, my solution to this problem is to grind the coffee the night before. If you let the ground coffee sit in the container for several hours were lost static charge. I save all the remaining copies. My last grinder burn in a little more than a year. Hopefully this will last much longer. So far I 've had for about 8 months. With the assumption that doesn 't break, I ' d buy it again.
This purchase was made based on the many reviews I found on Amazon.com. To those of you who wrote reviews, I thank you most profusely, I would not have ended up as happy as I am had it not been for you. It is easy to use, easy to clean, easy to load, quiet, and the 16 grind settings allow for all the different grind I use, from espresso to French press. From the first cup, I knew I had found the right grinder '. It is true that imparts heat from other hurts the Burr coffee grinders. The quality of the machine is obvious from the first time I used it. 100% satisfied. Check back in a year and see what I say then! ***** Out of five
I have been researching and using many types and brands of coffee grinders and now it's the best for the best price. This grinder, which I have had for 1 year now, is the best value I've found a very affordable and competent coffee grinder. After reading the reviews here I agree with 217.275, and 500 and many others. I should add that most of the (very few) negative issues easily corrected by taking a little time to be careful and to use logic and thinking. R 1) Be patient when unpacked will prevent damage ... Period r 2) Basket require extra push from time to time in order to prevent a blow-by coffee powder. R 3) the right grind setting is very subjective (as appropriate). Individual tastes is not something that can be adjusted mechanically. Try different grinds and timer settings. I have an old Braun Flavor Select automatic with a gold cone filter. I found my favorite mix of time and medium coarse grind is setting on the timer with 9 in 11 cups of water in the maker. This of course can be changed for various mixtures of coffee we enjoy. By the way, we live in the Pacific Northwest where coffee snobbery is a way of life. R 4) As far as cleaning out? Like the kitchen equipment, you should save it as clean as possible. That is to say, If you use one or more of your everyday really don 't need to worry about leaving a few nuts in the car for several hours. Just don 't grind too much coffee and let it sit for hours. Once a week I took the unit apart and grinding brush and wipe clean. That 's pretty much all that is required. General wiping the parts for me is not that difficult. R r I highly recommend the Capresso Infinity grinder you will enjoy for years to come.
I bought both the Capresso and the grinder ... The Bréville Bréville I think Gone With this one ... First off, has the sole Capresso a timer to turn it off ... You either wait until it is 0 or below to move it manually, not on-off switch ... his loud .... and evenly .. grind, if thats what you need. It is also espresso grind if you finer than the Bréville. But the Bréville is quiet ... it has a start button and automatic shut off if they stopped grinding ... it also has a timer .... the funnel, holds that the reasons for the Bréville is small, but it looks nicer than the Capresso for my purposes ... what went wrong and
Very pleased with this product. Very solid and grinds consistantly thorns. Only weakness is the housing of the grinder. All plastic (looks ok tho black) plastic can contribute to the static when opened to remove the coffee. (Coffee everywhere!) All in all, very good for the price of grinding.
I 've an avid coffee drinker after year been, by good coffee, bad coffee, I thought I had these two extremes. Until I was a little research and found out that more and purchased at the store pre-ground coffee brewing and I was due to the expensive drops manufacturers basically throwing money out the window and my coffee is substandard. So I decided to get in, at least) loops (beans at home, and my own brewing freshly ground coffee. Unfortunately, I don 't have $ 300 - $ 600 plus home for a reference, commercial-grade high end grinder. So I settled on the Capresso and spent the extra money for the stainless steel model. R rOverall it 's been a good choice. It 's hard and feels solid. I don 't think that all plastic models are worth everyone ' s time. There were a few points that I thought it might be an even more iffy purchase, though: plastic funnel and a container, a timer instead of off-and-one, and use after cleaning. R-The stainless steel model comes with a grounded plug and so far it is null "hopping ground " and very little " glue ground." I think the grind that I have put the burrs & have done so because they are more oily than a static problem. That 'm not 's say that will benefit the engine wouldn ' t & a glass funnel, but the plastic is not a show stopper for me. RI 've read a lot of complaints about the timer instead of an on / off switch. Again, it 's no problem for me. I can, indeed an argument for the on / off switch, I actually prefer the timer, since the engine would (theoretically) be burned if they no longer than a minute left. R-The biggest fear I had going on this issue was the cleaning. I was anxious to add it wouldn 't worth my time to take further steps to my overall coffee process. Yes, while it is a bit hard to get cleaned all the grounds of the mill and the hopper, it takes me all of about 2-3 minutes longer included with the brush. A larger brush would be nice, but I 'm sure that I fell for a $ 1 or $ 2 in local memory. R get rso has been my experience with the mill was extremely good and I am very pleased with this purchase. I think that as long as you buy the stainless steel model, you will be in a treatment. When you dive into the world of home-loops for the first time or make a step up from a blade grinder, you do not like I can never again to be disappointed dung in plastic containers sold in the grocery shelves.
The burr grinder grinds really more equal in my old Capresso. Even affect the taste is really hard to say. I think what does it makes the taste is more consistent. Sometimes my old mill and Mr. Coffee, the taste is great, sometimes not too. Now, it 's quite good all the time. It is worth the extra cost? Well, I wanted basic types of clothes for my newly remodeled kitchen, so I 'm pleased. I wouldn 't throw out your regular coffee grinder, however, and replace it with burr grinder, if all you re ' searching is enhanced flavor.
Ground coffee filter is perfect for my gold; good enough. Yes, there 's static I just dump the reasons the curved side of the container coffee then rap the container on the counter and dump the rest. Regarding the GRINDER Keep a bag of coffee, yes it does. But after cleaning, the "preserved " the coffee is made of pieces of beans and very big reasons - not like the rest of the coffee in the container. I think that comes down from its burr grinding and stays in the gaps in the car, but does not make coffee in the container. So I stopped worrying and don 't clean the machine so often. Enjoy a wonderful cup of coffee, tasty and not bitter. Highly recommended!
I 've had several failed electric burr grinders from other manufacturers that within one month of purchase. A mill would spontaneously begin grinding in the middle of the night. Another repeated stuck as the replacement unit. After returning to experience the frustration of not burr grinder, I was gun-ridge and avoided Sanders for several years, with a reliance on blade grinder. R rI purchased Capresso grinder after receiving recommendations from friends and reading the reviews here on Amazon.com. After five months of use, I continue to be happy with the Capresso grinder. It is easy to use and clean, and continue to grind to a consistent.
Let me start by saying that capresse 's customer service has been first class. I had to call his number twice since I got my mill. Once the strawberry jams in the grinder and I could not remove. They spoke with me through how to release it. The only other time the drive stopped working. I had sent in the same (only the base), send a UPS shipping label so I can 't pay a penny for shipping in any way (the departments of RMA generally make you pay at least one way) and ended up totally sent me new unit. I was just waiting for the base to be replaced, but they sent me a brand new unit in the box with all pieces. So now I have a strawberry backup and plastic parts. R rNext wanted to explain to skeptics why should I pay for it instead of a cheap blade mill. There are several things to consider when preparing coffee. The freshness of the grain size of the ground, as the routine is uniform, method of brewing, etc.. Firstly, if you're buying coffee cuts stop now. Investigate a little, find a grain that you like yourself and the mole. Freshness matters. On exposure to air issues. If you wonder why things at home knows better than coffee is one of the main reasons why. Next measure the ground had to be uniform. In preparing the coffee that is doing basically the same thing happens when you throw the tea steep or spices or dried herbs in boiling water. It will extract the flavors, giving them water. Consider soaking brewing as if you are a tea drinker. The finer grind is, the more you touch the hot surface, the faster the flavor is extracted. If too thin a routine run the risk of detachment of a bitter taste, a kind of tea as tea powder (commonly used in tea bags) is a little bitter, while tea leaves a little bigger softer. If it is too coarse, the coffee will stay right time and in the process can provide flavors that don 't want. R RSO you need a machine that can give him control over the size and make sure the reasons are smooth. If you are looking for a thick grinding blade grinder, it is likely that some of the coffee break at the bottom will be much smaller and you get a bitter taste. Burr mills provide a more uniform size. 9 The average size of adjustments to control size. I use a French press which requires fairly coarse grind (too thin and the reasons just ran threw the screen). Someone else might want a very finer for espresso. Maybe your coffee is becoming a little more, and is losing some of its flavor, but isn 't yet quite mellow. You 'd probably want a lot more purpose. This machine takes care of that. R RSO why one? I have already explained to customer service. And that is robust enough for the price, has a number of adjustments made to do almost anything different from a person who wishes to home. It's quite easy to clean and does not occupy much space on the shelves. If you are the kind of person who wants a cup of real espresso, you might want to go far superior.Si is someone who has always used coffee cuts are surprised to see how it is best to make a change. If you have used a blade grinder, you 'll be amazed how easy it is to get a good routine of a strawberry. Using my old sheet MUELA (now known as my Spice grinder) that had a method to get a decent routine. I grind for 10 seconds while shaken pretty hard. Then I dust a couple times after clicking below. With this machine you can measure what I need (usually 1 tablespoon of water to beans 1C) and left to do the job, back in a few seconds and is ready. R rMake sure to clean regularly. Burr Mills had a bit of a problem with static. The reasons are difficult to remove. Also don 't store their children at the top. Keep refrigerated in airtight container (preferably not plastic because plastic absorbs flavors ... including coffee flavors mellow). You can store large freezer, but keep them in a place where they won 't heat up each time you open the door. In general, if I 'm order 1 pound of beans (about 4-6 months supply for me) I keep in the refrigerator. Nothing beyond the first pound, I put in the freezer. If left at room temperature may even be outdated or stale quickly. You might want to invest in a can of compressed air, which probably can find an electronics store. Just be out and goal machine away when it blows. I discovered that one the hard way, once ... ..
Have had my Model 565 for a month now. It makes my common Eight O 'Clock Coffee taste noticeably more complex. Custom roasts are supurb. I use the coarsest of the fine settings for my old fashioned Bunn coffee maker. When I first acquired my Bunn I noticed it took about 30% more coffee to get the strength I desired. Now with the Infinity burr grinder I now use less coffee than my old blade grinder. I 'm guessing that the coffee is extracted better when burr ground. r rthe setup is easy, and the directions are quite clear on how to do everything. The biggest complaint on the ergonomics is that the hopper lid is so clear that I sometimes try to put coffee in the hopper without removing the lid. r rNow the not so good. r rThis unit would have got 5 stars Despite the cleaning hassles, if they would have put a simple on / off switch on this model. The twist timer is so counter-intuitive that I have already turned the timer backward by hand twice, Simply Because it is the logical way to turn it off, since the unit is turned on with this knob. r rAs Countless others have said, cleaning is a hassle. It takes longer to clean than for the coffee to be brewed. Have not had static problems yet, but winter is coming. The best way I have found to get the leftovers out is to slap the sides and rear of the grinder. Then remove the top burr and collection cup, then turn it upside down over the sink, and slap it good a few times. I have a bag of coffee in the fridge that is stuff shook out during cleaning. In a month I have accumulated enough for a pot of coffee. r rin summary I love the grind, it truly makes a difference over preground or coffee ground blade. Ahh, the price we pay in cleaning, to make our coffee taste better.
Pros: very nice range in routine. I 've used all the way from very thin / thick end to my espresso to French press. He gave me the ability to change my routine for my taste. R rcon: I 'm in agreement with most of the defects mentioned in other reviews r r # 1 - The transparent container does not fit well on the machine. vibrates if not held in. The reasons behind the container community and pushing out even more. irritating. R r # 2 - the remaining isotopes that do not fall into the container. well, a portion of their coffee "finish grinding " is really old. (I avoid it tipping the machine forward after crushing and give him a good pat on the back. Most of the routines in the empty container). more irritating. R r # 3 - the timer is useless because it 's is not! even when set to the same number every time, grinding time and the volume of routines always vary! out estimating the time each morning routine based on the volume and see the container. super irritating.
Heavy smaller it looks, easy to clean. A good control of static in the hopper of reasons. For all settings of the routine, some may wish it had a large number of adjustments to the French press. What does the work for my release, however. Otherwise a great choice.
I had this grinder for about a week and so far I am very pleased with it. This is my first razor grinder, before that I had a knife grinder Common, and I am pleased to report that I prefer this way of grinding. Coffee grind infinitely more consistent and appropriate control measures make it easier to grind to grind for different coffee makers (drip and French press). R rit would be very easy to clean and I have not found for the static problem, so long as you give the machine a few pats after running it (as the instructions said.) The only annoyance with me is that the grinding Collector tent to want to move out as the engine is running, only a little. However, all is grist to find there way into the room and no mess as a result. R ri is still trying to determine the proper settings for the timer to grind is not too much or too little, but once I thought it all out I 'm would be more pleased with this purchase.
It 'sa GRINDER reliable because it produces excellent coffee. The only thing I like is the on / off timer line. Instead of a time line, should have installed a good, old switch ON / OFF.
Pros: R1. Very even grind R2. Relatively quiet R3. Fairly easy to clean with few exceptions - more on this in the negative points r rCons: reasons RCAN leave behind - should set the "force " all the ground in the mill. R GH recenlty came to a grinding mill sheet. I chose the Capresso Infinity # 565, well supported by all the comments here, and several other websites. The difference in taste in my morning Brew was amazing. Anyone wishing to take the plunge, I recommend to encourage them without any hesitation. It also examined the Solis Maestro Plus brand Kitchenaid Burr grinders. I chose the Capresso was mainly due to price - I have a lot of Amazonas - won the # 565 for about the same price I've found everywhere # 560 - $ 100, and this is my first foray into grinder, I do not 't want to go "crazy ". The biggest problem I've had so far is clean, luckily, I found a post that helped me alleviate some of the dirt to clean this unit. The main theme centers around the fact that there is always some residue left after each workout - the reasons leading to stale sent to the next round. Now the forward bending of the mill, after all of the grains have gone through the chute and gently tap all parts of the outer surface - This pushes all the waste in the collector and leaves little behind. In any case, I'm very please with the Capresso Infinity and recommend it to anyone moving up from a blade-style grinder.
I 've done some research on uniforms (minus $ 750) Moderate espresso. You know, over a steam pot, but not too expensive. From what I 've read the burr grinder is as important (some say more important) than the espresso machine. Even so I tried the Capresso Infinity due to it 's low price but returned several days later. Here 's why: r-plastic, which means static cling meaning messy. R-Grind remain, as others have pointed out (I should have listened). I tried bumping and tilting the grinder, as suggested here, but the grinder just didn 't feel like it should be added abuse for very long. R ri 'm talking model in black plastic, not stainless steel model, then I Don ' t know if it would be more difficult. I wasted and I bought the Rancilio Rocky Espresso Doserless and General Purpose Coffee Grinder in place and let me tell you that is solid, not an impression of cheap plastic. I 'm very happy to Rocky!
Did a lot of researching where Burr grinders below the $ 150 range, and this seemed the best for oily beans and espresso-level Grinding. Other grinders may be better for drip machines, but this has been amazing so far. Not too noisy, oily beans and handles like a charm.
This grinder is pretty already examined in detail, and I think four stars is a fair assessment of it. If all you 're after is an affordable, efficient Burr grinder, I would recommend this model without reservations. R rI only add this review (I never 've written an Amazon review before, I don ' t think) to point out that grinding of coffee beans is all that 's expected - all of them that can be used for. Certainly don 't grind nuts, you ' ll turn a knob of butter and you 'll have a lot of time cleaning the thick stuff out of the room. R rThis week I succumbed to pressure and added ground flaxseed to my diet. The Capresso 560.01, which I had for a year already, does a decent job of grinding the seeds, but needs encouragement. By "encouragement, " I want to say to me touching the top and sides of the grinder and shaking it like a maniac. Thus all the seeds that pass through. As I said, flax seed is ground out well, I suppose, if a bit 'inconsistent ground. You 'll also to clean the grinder afterwards, as some seeds will inevitably stuck somewhere. Since, in theory, I 'll be dumping a tablespoon of flaxseed in the thing, every morning, I ' ll likely Plunk down $ 15 for a cheap blade grinder, and recommends the same to every flaxseed gourmand . Save yourself and headache.
I studied a lot of coffee grinders and found to have excellent reviews. I use it in my house several times a day and it works perfectly. I bought it used, but seems to work perfectly and does an excellent job of grinding at various levels of courseness and grind the exact amount for the number of cups you want. I accented my ceiling go perfectly with other stainless equipment. I would recommend to anyone.
Infinity is my first grinder Burr - no real basis for comparison with the others, but from what I know, i 'd give it 5 stars. As for Capresso 's Customer Service, I ' d give him a star of 10 - were terrific on all fronts (and I have the experience w / CSS others.
It works as advertised. In my opinion, is a reasonable price for something delicate because some plastic was used in the bean holder. Follow the instructions for use and cleaning, and should last.
This shredder worked fine for a year. So wouldn 't accept the head of the coffee bean on top. Confusing at best. It 's difficult to disassemble, but I did and I have to work again - for a more routine. Then the same problem. It is also a disaster if you grind more beans to receive the cup can hold. Then you have the ground coffee all over the place. We 're replacing it with a Cuisinart-8 dBm.
Expect to do a little cleaning up after sanding that is served very well, but many small pieces of leaves around the coffee area, especially when doing so overloaded storage drawer. It 'sa good solid machine with plenty of finesse adjustments. The instructions give you an idea of RE / how beautiful to different types of coffee and coffee makers, grind very helpful too. We actually thought our brewed coffee tasted a little better when the ground w / a Burr grinder blade in comparison to the old mill, which we by year. If you 're a coffee lover, this could make it as you. Try different settings and finesse, you 'll be surprised what it can make a difference. R rPros: light solid machine, the adjustments for large finesse to use, good instruction / advice. R rCon: messy, until you learn not grind too much coffee at once.
