Reviews

I 've had this kettle for a week and so far, it ' s great! I love it. It's fast and gets the job done. I like the coffee grounds holder sits flat on the counter and comes with 2 filters - one for singles, a double. The machine heats up quickly. You can have a coffee in minutes. I use soy milk and coffee with milk is like any other that you 'd get a good coffee! The water tank is huge so this would be a good machine for a family or someone who needs to do a lot of coffees at the same time. As I am only one person, I could fill it for a coffee. Overall, it 's easy to use, easy to clean and highly recommended.

Ok, so I searched amazon for the best review 'd this espresso machine and I found a little problem people have been reported and most love it. R RSO I 'm here to add awesome! I just got it a few days ago and have enjoyed it sooo much. The foamer takes a little practice, but it works great. I worry that I wasn 't get the right grind for the coffee machine because out of white / brown [and I bought a fresh espresso beans that day], even after only 5 initial washing with water, but it is cleared up. It 's kind of messy sometimes, but very valuable. Oh, and it 's look sexy in the counter-top. ;) Space-saver, too! R rI love it! Hot chocolate made with this easy, too. R rEnjoy ~

makers have for Christmas and liked it so far. it 's easy to use, very quiet and make great lattes. Didn 't come with a metal pitcher of milk so I used to have from the previous maker. I don 't think it ' s necessary to spend hundreds of dollars at the current maker works great.

All these negative reviews are concerned with the quantity of coffee with this coffee, we will take me laugh. This is a machine for home use, not for a cafeteria. It is also serving an espresso coffee machine for individual, ie one or two cups of 70ml. Espresso is strong and small. For those of milk, cream and other things, the ruins of the espresso - get another coffee, not espresso, and you can large bucket of coffee, tea seems more so that you can fill your giant cup add!

The guest reviews refusal Don 't do this product justice. Just go to the instructions and use a good coffee and ground coffee goes great! I found the best price for this unit is definitely at Amazon!

This is your first time buying this brand. The coffee machine works very well so far. It is a creamy milk good for hood. This product was bought about 23 days and in that short time the machine works very well.

Takes a long time to heat and can be steam milk and make the shots at the same time. It has enough power to make the shot, then steam the milk, you wait inbetween them. In addition, you must remove the foam tube (screw in) to clean and doesn 't really fine foam. R rUnderpowered to a large bowl or on a journey "venti " size coffee. If just preparing drinks small to work properly. Good price for small sizes.

I am the kind of person who would love to start a day with a hot cup of coffee. I usually take it with some milk and sugar. This is my first ever espresso machine. It 's been only little over 1 month since I got this machine but so far I liked it very much. The diagrams and instructions were helpful in understanding how the machine is to be operated. I tried making cappuccino the very first time I used it. From my limited experience, I have to say that the machine does make good espresso and can generate fair amount of froth from milk for making a cappuccino. I tried with 2% milk. Did not try with skim milk as they recommended. Haven 't had any issues so far. The waiting time for the machine to get hot is not that much (may be 2-3 minutes). I used the 2 cup filter and always press the powder in the filter very hard to make the coffee as strong as possible. The espresso itself comes with lot of air bubbles, so that when I just add milk, it remains Frothy without using the steam pump. I am pretty satisfied with it so far. I use dark roast coffee. I need to experiment with some other coffee power. I would recommend this machine to any first time buyers. At the time of this writing, they lowered the price even more so this is a good bargain.

I have this machine in the mail last week. My previous Mr. Coffee steam driven espresso maker died after about six months use. I decided to have a better machine from less expensive steam-driven units use aluminum for the construction of boilers. I took apart the Mr. Coffee and I saw that there was some corrosion on the bottom of the boiler, which means that I am a coffee drinking contaminated aluminum. No thanks. R RNOW, back to the Delonghi. The first days I used it, I hated it. I was going to return it, but didn 't to move immediately. The coffee was anemic and steam didn 't quite short. I make two cups of cappuccino in the morning, and had to keep closing the steam button and wait for the OK to go light again. I learned to just keep the steam and the command to return to open more than 1 / 4 is recommended. Steam milk is very good that way. It also didn 't like having to dump the grounds and fill the filter basket in order to get a pitcher of strong espresso. (I have switched to a French roast and espresso beans and use of bottles of flavor. That seems to make the best coffee if I want flavored coffee). I like the fact that I can have a cup of decaf for my wife, and then lead a cup for me in the short term. It only took a little experimentation to do well, since the instructions of Don 't cover the nuances of the machine. I am very happy that I got the opportunity DeLonghi. Every time I use, I like more. The only reason I 't give 5 stars is that the filter basket should be a little bigger. Then I could make coffee for two cups of espresso cappuccino without having to fill the basket. Steam also is a bit too low to be able to steam milk at any decent sized container. I like to use the cup that I drink coffee, and just doesn 't fit. I can tilt the cup to get it under the nozzle, but can not do that once the milk foam without spilling part of it. The machine must be lifted a little to get the cup out. But I can live with that. I would definitely recommend this espresso maker. Works great once you get the hang of it.

I love this machine. In fact, I needed a second machine for my office so I bought a second just the same. It 'sa great price and makes a good coffee. After reading some of the comments that I have to admit that perhaps the foamed milk isn 't really hot.

This is a great machine for the price. Produces a nice espresso and the frother works great. Super easy to use and keep clean.

I have had this machine for about 2 months and am very happy with the Mocha I can make at home. The espresso has that beautiful creamy consistency, and the great steamer produces milk for the foam. I find the machine easy to use and clean. I am able to make equivalent to the best Mocha coffee bars. This is a great machine and a great value.

As many of you, I pored Amazon customer reviews of the works of many kinds of coffee before making my purchase. I replaced a cheap Mr. Coffee device is a lemon. I am making espresso and cappuccino for many years the use of department store-grade articles that come with four (espresso)-cup pitcher and control consisting of an on-off switch and a steam valve and I am very enjoy the taste of the product. However, I am not able to increase the desirability of Crema espresso I enjoyed in Italy, or better of our baristas in the U.S. but just a aesthetic compromise. Other customers 'comments encouraged me to consider a pump-driven espresso maker, so I took a chance with this one: it seems to be in the middle price range and most customers are pleased with the results they got, although some clearly unhappy folks bought faulty devices and are satisfied with DeLonghi 's customer service. For me, so far, so good and I delighted in the results. Even making DeLonghi espresso requires a bit more attention than the cheaper basic model I 'd grown used to, it is a minor compromise. This machine makes great espresso and beautiful. Because the water is drawn from a 35-oz. reservoir, not only can you wait until all the water you 've poured into the engine is running through (as can the machine hold only a cup of water in their reservoir ) but you have to stand in water to turn the flow through the yard when you 've done enough. Therefore, you can make your espresso as strong or weak (that defies logic!) As you like. Don 't worry, your "wait " is the amount less than a minute. Rthe control is simple, yet efficient. The silver knob on the front has four positions, from left to right: preheating of water for steam - off - preheating water for coffee - water flowing through the coffee. A red light indicates that the heating element is energized. A green light indicates that the water has reached its desired temperature for steaming or coffee, depending on the mode you 've chosen. The valve / knob on top of the machine regulates the flow of steam through the nozzle to froth your milk. Rthe milk frothing nozzle is superior to any I use. Frothing The start immediately and is a very efficient process. When the milk is frothed, click the control knob in two positions and you may find that the temperature of the water is ready to make coffee immediately. Less than a minute later, you 're done. Rthe DeLonghi has not come to a milk frothing pitcher. It has enclosed yard tamper-Which is a convenient perk. My only complaint when making espresso, a few drops of water wide ants out of milk frothing nozzle, as if with less through leak-valve. Also, new milk frothing, I drain the steam line in a separate cup to purge a teaspoon to a tablespoon of water from the line before the steam is revealed. RI am delighted that this DeLonghi Espresso Maker and recommend it highly.

for money paid, worked quite well, do not use an espresso base, so unlike a lot of pressure to the computer as you might think, but making a decent shot if you use the excuse that calls for consistency (usually ground coffee), the steamer works well, like a reservoir of water, take time to get to temp.

This machine is very fast and consistent. Cream at all times. This is the third espresso maker that my husband has been used (the other died a natural death from old age after 3-4 years.) And is the best.

It does everything I 'd hoped it would. Quick and easy espresso, cappuccino and milk. It would very well have been a 5 star if it had a self-extinguishing. I have to watch the cup to see when he 's done. A very small inconvenience to be sure. I do not like. The fact that it is a factory refurbished and I bought for half the retail price makes me very happy.

I recently purchased the Delonghi BAR32 Retro Pump-Driven Espresso Maker, which was previously held. The machine is relatively small, it occupies more space than a normal coffee and heat it quickly. I am able to heat the water hot enough to heat my coffee mug shot before pulling to within about two minutes of turning it on. I had no training as a barista, and have never used an espresso machine before. I found the instruction manual supplied with the manufacturer's lack luster, but very instructive in the principles of operation of the machine. I found a simpler, yet research on the Internet, as well as asking a few enthusiastic friends of coffee. R r pull a single shot of espresso is fast and simple. I found that if I ask for my coffee to grind the beans only from the typical scenario for coffee (a bit thicker) the flow is constant, and produces a wonderful cream. As far as pulling a double dose, had no problem. I use about a spoonful a spoon and a little less than complete, without squeezing, and Tampa and then just enough for the level of beans in the filter. (Which is very light) I believe that the only shot clocked at around 25 seconds, and twice around 30-35 seconds. And watch the shot more than time. When the color changes from dark brown to caramel, it usually takes a few seconds a little more light for a Sweet Ivory / off-white. That 's when I turn it off. I left the glass in time to sit down strike, not drip or two (even with the drip pan, I don 't mess as ...) then I remove the cup and turn the steam. It takes a minute or two to get hot enough to steam. I 've read that a good cream will hold a teaspoon of sugar, cream and milk supplied by BAR32 does just that. R rSteaming MILK took some practice. I suggest investing in a pitcher of foam. Being able to place the container (ideally the pitcher) in the freezer to relax before adding the milk seems to help. I 've used skim and whole milk, skim foam and look better. The bubble wand is complicated, but I 've found that put the head of the bat in the middle of the jar with the pitcher receives the level to start growing microfoam (starts to stretch the milk) and keeping the wand just under the surface of milk (for you to hear a type "sipping " noise) extends the milk enough. If the bubbles get too big, tilt the launcher to swirl the milk itself, like a whirlwind and then stretch it until the pitcher is almost too hot to handle. I do not find it necessary to use a thermometer. Once you 're done, let rest a few seconds before pouring the coffee. I 've also no spices to the syrup before you foam milk. I R in all, I 've found this to be Maker easy to use, easy to clean and makes a great espresso / cappuccino / latte. The only problem I 've had is the steam wand begins to swing to the right after you push it to the left to steam milk. I do not burn the first time I used it, because I didn 't notice swinging back. R ri have read that it must be descaled, but only every "uses 300 " which to me would be about once a year. I won 't have to try it until about March. R ri definitely recommend this product.

Works great for the price. The coffee is good, although the steam the milk is a little tricky to hit, especially with fat-free milk.

This is a great espresso machine in this price range. I brought my second wife for Christmas 'back and he loves it. CREAMA ago frooth great and good.

I became a Starbucks junkie since the birth of my second child whom is now 8. My mom got me my first Mr. Coffee Steam Espresso driven espresso machine. I killed it within a year and a half. So I stepped it up, and got another Mr. Coffee that was driven with steam heated cup rack (which was discontinued shortly after its purchase due to issues) It stopped making hot espresso, so since it had a warranty they sent me another steam driven , Which died 6 months later. r rI researched long and hard and settled on this Delonghi Bar32 in Feb 2005 for $ 169 and got a 2 year warranty for $ 29. I fell in love. The cups of brewed coffee were stronger, with crema. The steam frother worked great. I 've used pods and ground espresso (burr ground works BEST) interchangably. Since I wanted this to last I clean it regularly, but 7 months ago, it started not accepting the ground coffee. And the pods brewed did not stay as hot. I 've used this machine just about everyday as all machines I have had. Needless to say .... my machine has died. The frother still works great, I can extract coffee using the pods, but they are only luke warm. DeLonghi I called for help and they told me that my warranty has expired, and that there are NO repair shops in Georgia. The problem is that the pump may be dead. So I am on the hunt. I have settled for the 155 and Delonghi will order it in a few days. I will give my rating then. Rbut on this machine, it is GREAT .... just wanted it to be with me a bit longer than it was I was hoping for 5 years ... but I got my money 's worth. Starbuck quality. I could pull several shots from this machine with no problem. This machine is definitely priced right and you will get a great quality. It made me happy for its time with me. You will be happy with its decor and its performance! It had 3 1 / 2 years with me, the savings of close to $ 800 a year if you had the habit I have ..... this was great!

This was a gift for my son and his wife. They love it and I enjoyed using it immensely. Thanks

I 've had this unit for about two weeks, and it works extremely well for the price. I 've had trouble getting an even double pull into two cups. Tamping the puck more tightly and carefully (even) seems to minimize the problem. This machine makes great espresso. I don 't think you can beat it for the price. r RUpdate: Have been using this machine for a month now and no complaints. It works perfectly every time. Easy to maintain and clean.

This is my 3rd espresso machine as they tend to go head after a year or two. This is the best one I 've purchased so far. I love how cute it looks, and I 'm glad it ISN ' t as heavy and big as my last one (a Starbucks barista one). The water container is just the right size. It 'sa medium size, and fits on the back of the machine so you just grab it and fill it (with the Barista machine it was behind the espresso filter thing with the handle, so you always had to take this off first). It also warms up easily. Just switch the knob and wait for the light to turn on. This is my 1st pump-driven machine (as opposed to the cheaper steam-driven ones) and it makes a crema which is a caramel-colored foam on top of the espresso shots. It 's like a little bit of cappuccino foam without using the frother. In fact, I don 't think I will use the frother on this machine as it has a big plastic piece which looks like it would get clogged with milk and be tough to clean (another reviewer said he took the plastic part off and just used the metal wand by itself which I might try). As it is, I normally just add a dash of milk and some sugar to the espresso, which turns out like a strong-flavored coffee. If you love the taste of Starbucks drinks, that 's the espresso flavor you will get. Just buy any brand of dark roasted coffee beans and grind them in a little electric grinder to the espresso / extra fine and you 'll get a great tasting cup! So you know, the photo shows 2 mini espresso cups, but you can fit the normal American-style (big!) Coffee mugs in it (my biggest, oversized coffee mugs are too big, though).

I bought this machine so I could stop spending so much money buying coffee every morning. It 's very easy to use, once you find out, but takes some practice to pack the grounds. The steam wand seems a little short and needed to get a strong pitcher for frothing. In general, I 'm happy with my purchase.

I bought this product as a gift for my father. Has few friends who expressed makers costly and wanted one, but I wasn 't want to spend more than $ 1000 for his first. I gave him and within the first week of having used at least 20 times. This is a great machine for the price and makes a great espresso. He also got compliments from her friends who expressed makers expensive. If you're hesitant about what to buy you can be sure that this is a good product.
