Reviews

I 've never bothered to review the product if a product like it or not. RHowever, the espresso coffee is so bad that I let anyone who is thinking Rabo buy this machine. STOP! Don 't waste your money! RI 've lost both top quality coffee trying to work this machine It ' s not fun. RWE have a Kitchen Aid Pro Line Burr Grind it 's awesome. Mol is a perfect espresso rgrind and all others, but this machine can not handle the ground espresso. Rit doesn 't have enough power when you put the ground coffee coffee portafilter rholder and launch does nothing but make much noise. Not a drop of espresso rcomes out. And when removing the portafilter holder You 'have a big mess in your rhands how much water is collected and mixed with coffee grounds, and spits and jets everywhere defeat for all left a disappointment and a loss of soaked beans. Rfind a different espresso coffee machine! RGood Luck!

After using Cuisinart EM-100 for a month I can say it can make a coffee comparable to that bought in a coffee shop. The espresso machine is simple and foolproof to operate, which helps when making coffee when you're not awake. A full cup size fits easily under the portafilter. Other nice touches are that the water tank is easily removed or put, and the recovery tank can be easily slipped and washing. Rthe preparation process for making espresso is very short: just add water in the tank if it isn 't was enough before, fill a clean portafilter with coffee and attach it to the Instead, wait a minute, turn the dial to coffee and pours into the cup, Presto! Cleaning is simple: the screen above the portafilter and steam nozzle should be wiped, and the portafilter needs to be cleaned. Rall is necessary to make good coffee using the right grind of coffee. Some suggest that a Burr grinder is necessary to grind the coffee beans of superior quality. It takes a short learning process to find the right fineness of grind of making good coffee. I found the most delicious Finer grind coffee. A word of caution, as with any espresso machine, a grinding too fine will clog the portafilter and coffee will not spill. When it is clogged, the pressure created by the pump, it can be difficult to remove the portafilter, and must be removed to take steps to decongest. This problem would be the same with an espresso maker. Instructions and pin are substantially provided. I was able to unclog the filter Porta with the PIN, luckily I might add. Rit makes hot water and steam in a surprisingly short time. I 'd say in less than a minute, maybe the specification 1000W has something to do with the boiler house. A good foam can be made with steam. I steam first, because it warms the boiler more. The hot water comes out really hot, and before taking a coffee with protafilter I used to heat the cup. RFor make several cups of espresso, the portafilter can be safely and easily removed when one is done, so you can go on to the next, and so on. The protafilter is naturally hot for a while after making coffee, so be aware when handling.

Positive and what works: r high-end features and a drop in money-machine r - 15 bar pump r - no discharge pressure coffee (no splashing or wait) r -- Cup Warmer, which is actually hot r - steel steam wand r Good pressure r-self-priming A-No, wait (can switch between espresso and steam in seconds) r-customer service r -makes good coffee and foam large r rNegatives: r "All too low r - need to tilt or milk jug to raise the machine to turn on or off the stick Steam r - do can use a small pitcher or a cup of coffee in shallow nozzle r-capacity of low-ish water. Makes just 4-5 shots of espresso and 2 jugs of milk steamed r-steam wand attachment fragile (see below) r washers Makes Wet- r-recycling bin is small and use in normal operation. The pressure of the coffee and steam are discharged into the drip tray, so after 4-5 cups "dump " drop by drop and it is full. R-burned coffee is a bit despite my efforts r RWE got this to replace a $ 350 machine that Starbucks has waived after 5 years of heavy use (4-5 cups per day, more on weekends) . The price was hard to pass from (was $ 250 when we bought 2 years ago, now it is even lower). It has all the characteristics of the finest machinery, but not the size or strength. R rthe steam wand rotates horizontally and appeared to have a top-down play. The up-down is necessary because the rod is small and hard to get the pitcher and departure. Also you will be thrust on the rod as you wipe. Ours broke and some fitting inner plastic after 2 years. The plastic seems to be heat tired and fragile. No more steam. R rHowever I called Cuisinart, the unit is under warranty according to its serial number (they do not require proof of purchase or product registration). It sends a new (to return to the old when we get the new one). I am happy to continue using this machine, but the steam wand handle with care. R rThis is a great machine for the money, it seems to be a class apart. GH buy this machine if I went for 3-4 cups per week. RHowever, next time I'll spend much more money on a machine much more robust view of how we use ours.

I don 't usually review items, but in this case I must say, did it from the first cup was intolerably slow, and was easily clogged despite carefully washing every time. The pump vibreates so hard that you have to stand and keep your hand on the cup (I use a pyrex pitcher for accurate measurement and the darned thing nearly vibrated that heavy 8 oz pyrax pitcher right off the machine) the whole time. I just made a doppio that took 15 minutes. The frother is also inefficient, doing a decent job one time in five. I see better reviews, so maybe I just got a lemon, but should anyone get a lemon at a $ 150?

Poor product engineering, mechanical failures over. R Rif not for Amazon 's excellent customer service is going to be sitting in my garage now. The power button didn 't work for me. I had to keep the power button to work. The unit was very noisy too. Vapor Removal of land is too low. You can 't get steamed milk easily off the ship. I went back and asked the unit to the replacement of Amazon with the hope of giving a second chance. The replacement unit has different problems. One of the hooks that have the water tank broke. I could not get the drive to create steam. He also returned. People who are satisfied with this product should be the lucky ones. R rQuality espresso is not as great. For the price point that would have kept the unit if there were no mechanical problems. R GH recommend Amazon to stop selling this product.

Beautiful design. I loved the right of the box. Then tried. Very strong and there is no water flow. Disappointed. Hours later he returned to start packing it up for his return. But a beautiful machine. I recalled having read a blogger coffee 's comment about a bomb that became high quieter with each use. Sun tried again. Sincerely seated and the reservoir full of water. Gorgot machine. Hmmm. Power Hit. Immediately calmer response. Hmmmmm. After heating, attempted to espresso. It works! Keep it! Fingers crossed. Note on packaging: baskets of additional filters and clean needles are focused on the bottom of one of the largest naval panels of polystyrene foam. Easy to launch if Don 't mind the label with the arrow.

I replaced a Krups that died with the Cuisinart. I only drink espresso, never regular coffee and thus I use my espresso maker everyday. R rThe Cuisinart makes good coffee, I 'm happy with it. Compared to the Krups, there is more crema with the Cuisinart. Coffee tastes a little stronger as well. R rI 'm skeptical with one point though (reason why I rated 4 starts only): this machine creates a back-pressure using a double-bottom filter so the water is forced to stay in . r rAlthough this technology seems to work it is not the technology used in the 'real / traditional / professional ' espresso maker. I anticipate a couple problems, some I experienced, some I just guess: r r-While in a normal espresso machine used the ground comes out dry and solid (the famous hockey puck). This machine yields a soupy ground more difficult to clean up. The more you tamper it, the dryer it gets though. Reason why some users report that they tamper the ground very hard. r rI however killed a previous espresso maker (an expensive Italian one) doing just this. If you tamper the ground too much, the pump will prematurely die from trying to get the water through. R r-Although I 'm not expert enough to judge the quality of the coffee, since this technology is not used by the pros or more high-end machines, I would say it produces a less quality coffee. Again, I can 't really say so I ' m fine with the coffee it makes. R r-Some users reported that this tiny hole is prone to clogging sometimes leading to a filter replacement since it can 't be easily cleaned. r r-My Krups was tamping the ground through the motion of attaching the filter to the Brewing head. This requires manual tamping machine r r-Since the filter technology creates significant back pressure, I 'm wondering if this could wear the pump faster than usual. My Krups lasted 6 months with daily use. We 'll see how far this goes. R rI didn ' t (and will never) use the milk frother so can 't comment on this. I 'm however finding it pretty cool that it provides besides steam hot water. R rOverall good coffee, easy to use, Sturdy construction. Now need to wait I see how much maintenance it needs and how far it goes!

I bought the unit in my 12 years old $ 300 espresso machine died of electronic failure. The price was great and Cuisinart is a good name. The machine works and delivers the same results as my old unit. The differences in operating the equipment used was some time, but now I am quite comfortable and the machine can work very quickly. I see a difference in the quality and my only worry is how long will the device.

I used my new Cuisinart Espresso Machine for the first time today. Made a great latte, and then a cappuccino. I have a Cuisinart and Saeco was bought so I could put the Saeco in our house and use the engine Cuisinart in our house. I 'll hate to go back to Saeco (when on the road), now that I ' ve tried the Cuisinart coffee can do. It 's not as high as the Saeco want. Easy to use. I had no problems what so ever with getting the right amount of grounds or pressure compressors. The DVD was a great supplement to the manual. Also the steam wand froths milk perfect.

I can not say I am very happy with the new machine. RWater pressure is not as good as steam. Cleaning marble. Ryou can not do 3 or 4 coffee at a time rwater tank is not large rif you have a coffee machine and steam move water to think.

This is the 3 Espresso Machine I have used and the first I bought. My two roommates had earlier Krups machines that worked hard and produced a good espresso w / cream good. This machine is very good too. It is relatively small, which works very well because I'm limited counter space. It heats up quickly (~ 1 minute), steam milk quickly and easily and produces a good dose of espresso. My problem with the machine and reason to give a review of 3 stars is the beginning of espresso are diluted. I am using beans and for some reason when I turn the key and the coffee begins to produce the first 3-5 seconds, the liquid is almost clear. After a few seconds the liquid will change consistency and you can visibly tell the difference. So what I have done is just let the machine run for a few seconds before I slide down my glass. Using this method I get a shot fairly consistent w / Cream good. The more shots of espresso you make the better / darker they become. My only problem is getting the first one to be as dark as the 2 or 3.

Step way too much coffee ... so when I claimed in my corner, I decided to look again at the espresso machines. After reading many reviews and comparisons of the worst that people had to say on a variety of machines (Think about it when people say that the worst is that its a bit slow, or the leaking steam pipe I can live with it ... If the revisions, said, "that stops working after a few weeks " I avoid them, even if it is generally good reviews.) finally gave me an opportunity Cuisinart ... and although its only been a couple of weeks, I'm pretty happy. r RI grind coffee order (no charge) and the package is quite strong and the coffee is really good. My points first were good, but better when adjusted to the routine grind a little finer. The machine heats up very quickly, and I like the water tank (about one inch thick and fits in the back of the machine. You can fill it up, or simply open the cover and in water have not had any problems. If there are problems, I will add that this review.

I bought this machine last fall and have been on many times a day for the past 10 months. I decided to spend a little more to get a pump-driven espresso machine for coffee with a more intense flavor. But I didn 't want to spend a fortune. And I didn 't want to be limited to pre-packaged portions. This seemed like a good entry-level machine, and I 've been very happy with it. Have you not to Starbucks since I bought it was, so I think it has paid off, if you so much. R Rit makes great tasting coffee. The warming tray top is a nice gesture. The possibility of the water tank and a child is removed it at the sink cell phone. My only complaint is that it sa 'a bit noisy. (And, as another reviewer wrote, if you pack too tightly the coffee won the vapor 't go through. I am that not even didn ' t make the mistake again.) R meu in all, I think It 'sa good value.

Because I bought this machine from my last four choices it was the only one I could take today and do not have to order online. When I got home it was missing 2 of the three baskets of filtration and cleaning pin 2. The store where I bought it had none. So I called Cuisinart customer service. The representative I spoke to was very friendly and offered to send me the missing pieces. His manager veto it. He said they could not waive the rights of the expedition, but I 'd have to buy the missing pieces that should have been included and I ' d already paid when I purchased the unit. I bought the Lello 1375 Ariete place. HR Marrick

I spent few hours reading reviews and generally verify the details before I made this purchase. In short, it seems, no matter the pump driven machine that I bought at that price which would probably have a problem with him sometime. But unfortunately, since my husband and I you were there 't positive that we wanted our own coffee machine (we like the social aspect of our corner of the privately owned coffee shop that was here long before I heard Starbucks) - keen to get started with a lower priced model to see how often you 'd really use it ... of time when I came here was so excited to have him. I am also a huge tea drinker and could not wait for a machine that did everything: hot water, steam the milk / foaming, espresso, etc.. Unfortunately, however, the dysfunctional machine was out of the box. Something was blocking the ability of the water tanker to reach the reserve - which could not 't even run the throw to the right of the box. For Cuisanart 's credit, they have a 3-year warranty on the thing and when calling the 800 number a human being actually collected immediately. And they are in the U.S. However, although in the end it was agreed that the machine was defective, if I were to use their warranty, I 'd need not only pay to send my machine back to them, but also pay the shipping costs of the new. I know they have a limited warranty explained well - but in my opinion, when an item is defective outside the box, bets are off. Protect it. R rLuckily, of course, Amazon has better customer service and have now sent a new machine and email me a prepaid mailing labels to send back the game. Once this is working, I 'll let you know what I think. But I 'm giving it one star for now, because part of the reason I ordered this machine over other is that the end seemed to have the least problems of this type in comparison with others. I want everything you have every time I do research to know that this team seems to be peculiar as the rest seems to be ... So in the end. Good luck. Even a decent (or T vs. Great Good) espresso machine at this price point just doesn 'There seem easy. We hope this will last long enough for us to decide whether to buy a better or just keep going to the "corner ".

I bought this machine to replace the steam-driven one. This is my first pump machine, so the noise and vibration I was a little worried at first. Although 's taken some getting used to, I ' m now making great espresso machine and love. Of note, I took someone's advice and take a piece of metal that covered the steaming wand. With that, I had so many bubbles overflowing cup of warm milk before even. In closing, I can slowly heat the milk and still get a good froth, it works better for me like this.

I used the machine every day from its receipt in the mail for 30 days and have not had any problems with this issue.

This is my first Expresso maker. I chose this one mainly because of positive reviews here. R RI am very happy about this machine after using it every week for the past four months. Model is very easy to use and clean - it takes me about 10 minutes from beginning to end: from grinding beans in finising cleaning everything. R rMany reviewers give it a good comparison of this model to others, the pros and cons. I would like to add two things: 1) I highly recommend a milk frothing thermometer (cost about $ 10), then foam is always heated to around 160 degrees To ensure a perfect cup of latte and cappuccino. 2) Clean the steam nozzle and wand immediately after you finish steaming function. If you wait, the milk is harder on the walls and be more difficult wipe away r rOverall me very satisfied with this machine, and it saved me all my weekend visit to Starbucks and money!

A great car. Works well. Expressly tasty. It has been quite reliable, as we 've used the heck out of it for 6 months. Without Rin, the girls liked it so much that we bought one my sister. Hers worked perfectly out of the box ... Rthe pump machine is the way to go ... the price is reasonable for what you get a thumbs up for this machine.

I just received my Cuisinart Em 100 this week. It makes much better than my old espresso machine (on Farberware). Both machines have good shoes, removable trays, cups Warmers, etc.. The difference is 1) the Cuisinart does not drip when you stop the bomb 2) cream and the flavor is more superior (Bolder, more flavorful) 3) the milk froths and really not get bubbley expands. This is a big machine. R rSome things I discovered about the Cuisinart is 1) the two skim filter basket does not take two levels of skim it overflows (not a problem just something to learn) 2) the pump stops when the water is not the right temperature, especially for head and then it begins again when the right temp (as this scared me the first thought that the bomb failed) 3) It is wise to clean the steam cookie wand and head right after making a cup of things so do not get clogged 4) the frothing pitcher is great and just the right size. I have no problem with a steam wand until some of the previous review is listed. I love the warranty of three years. The holder of Farberware plastic portafiler broke after a year warranty expired. The Cuisinart has a metal holder portafilter

I'ma coffee addict, and this machine makes a very good coffee with cream and all that. The foaming worked well the first time I used it, but after the second time, the foaming not only works well (I said as cleaning instructions). I return to this subject, there is something better beyond this price

Through NO is the summit of the machine online, but for the price c 'est excellent. R rHere is where the value is ... 3 year warranty. Somewhat important to everyday users.

I did much research on Expresso makers before I settled on the Cuisinart EM100. This is certainly the best one out there - it took a bit of getting used to as I had previously used the Krupps model - which after using the Cuisinart seems like a toy. The Cuisinart EM100 Expresso makes excellent - better than the ones you can buy at Starbucks! Once again the Cuisinart name has lived up to its reputation. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a "Perfect " Expresso drink at home.

I 'd give 6 stars if possible. I 've now had this espresso machine for about 13 years and I can honestly say I ' ve not had any problems with it at all. I use the fine grind espresso, tamping with a medium amount of pressure and have never had any issues with clogging or any other malfunction at all. It makes wonderful espresso, does an amazing job of Frothing milk-you use much less than you might think froths Because it really good;), and it is easy to clean up. It is also great for cappuccino and latte making. The top warms my cups up nicely when in use and provides great cup storage when not in use. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves a great espresso with minimal fuss.
